Requirements
MUST BE AVAILABLE WEDNESDAY EVENING, FRIDAY EVENING AND SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AM AND PM SHIFTS
•A minimum of 1-2 years of bartending experience in an upscale hotel or freestanding restaurant
• Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage trends
• Solid wine and cocktail knowledge
• Be able to work cohesively in a team setting or alone
• Be able to focus attention on details and multi task
• Outstanding organizational and communication
• An abundance of creativity and attention to detail
• Smart Serve certified
• Bilingualism an asset
Job Profile
• Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner
• Ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction through the delivery of high quality, consistent food and beverage service
• Collect payments and operate POS system
• Serve food to guests seated at the bar and in the lounge
• Clean up after guests and clean work area
• Serve guests in a helpful professional manner
• Assist fellow partners as necessary
• Monitor and maintain inventory and supplies, including daily mise en place preparation.
• Ensuring compliance to the Health Department and liquor regulations
• Follow Smart Serve protocols, such as not selling alcohol to intoxicated guests, not permitting out-of-control guests on premise, checking for proper valid identification for proof of age
